France is about to vote on Hate Speech laws in April 2026 (https://www.rfi.fr/en/france/20260411-france-s-antisemitism-bill-a-weapon-against-hate-or-threat-to-free-speech), in January 2026, Australia strengthened their hate speech laws, and Canada also strengthed their hate speech laws in DEcember 2025. All of them are supposed to be geared towards antisemitism. However, each of them allows room for speech to be classified as hate speech, it is deemed offensive to a particular group, even if that group does not take offence. This allows room for any and all people who speak contrary to the accepted narrative to be deemed as using hate speech. In all cases it can also deem sacred texts, such as the Holy Bible, as hate speech which would mean they would be banned.

The UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights in Article 19 states, "Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers." So why are there so many hate speech laws passing that prevent the freedom to express opinions particular those that go against the 'accepted' messages of the majority? The little-known provision under Article 29 of the Universal Declaration removes any right to freely express your opinion if it runs contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations. And what are the purposes and principles of the UN? First outlined in the UN charter, its purpose is to unite the globe under the "common interest" to achieve global peace and security. A "common interest" requires the silencing and removal of dissenting voices. This is even more imperative as the UN moves towards fulfilling the goals of the "Common Agenda" – Agenda 2030.

These hate speech laws lay the groundwork for a universally accepted form of worship as prophecied in Revelation 13, 14 and 17. Whilst the Bible has always been a source of truth, God has always allowed voices of dissent to be heard. God allowed Satan in the garden of Eden to share lies about Him to Adam and Eve, and He has allowed those same hateful lies to be perpetuated since that day until now. It is only when nations of the Old Testament, and the final wicked world in the New Testament, openly war against God, that God deals with the hate speech. At the end of time, the lives of those who prefer to separate themselves from the God of the Bible, and call for the rocks and mountains to fall upon them (Revelation 6:15) that God will allow their lives to be extinguished. It was also only those nations that came out to attack God's people in the Old Testament, instead of making peace with them, that also had war declared on them (Deuteronomy 20:10-12).

God protects and defends all people to speak freely. We should do the same; even if it means maintaining the right of those to speak things that may seem offensive to us. There should never be a law that limits the speech of another individual.
